Dr. John's Clinic provides free help with auto and mechanic problems

Question

When we put this website together we realised that there would be many people with all sorts of different technical questions that they might want to ask.

When the experts who provide the answers discussed this problem, they decided that to include a page with loads of drop-down menus, blanks to fill in, information to provide etc. etc. might be a bit intimidating, but for those who like those forms please click here for on-line form

Or you can follow this procedure.

  • If you have a question, all you have to do is send an email and just say to us, "I have a problem with my car (or whatever)".

  • When we receive your e-mail we will return it to you and will paste into the reply a list of questions that we will need answered before we can help you. These are similar to those asked in the online form

  • You will then click on the "Reply Button" in your e-mail programme, and this will enable you to return the same letter to us, but you will be able to fill in the answers first before sending the letter to us.

  • Once we have the information we will be in a better informed situation to respond to your problem, and it is our aim to provide our site visitors with as much help as possible. We do not charge for the help or advice.

  • If we have the right info from you, we will do what we can to help. If you have been scammed, tell us about it so that we can warn others. Were you taken advantage of by a garage? Then tell us about that too.

  • There ARE some good garages out there with honest owners and honest technicians, but there are also a lot of people who will try to part you from your hard earned money. The guys at womensgarage.com are here to help, to try to save you money, and to try to assist you from being ripped off by the less than scrupulous.

  • You have a question? Then just e-mail us and we will be happy to help if we can, and there is absolutely no cost to you. This is a FREE service from a small group of people who care.

  • These problems with "so-called" auto repair specialists are found worldwide. Through this website you can, at least, go into a garage with some useful information, and if you STILL feel that someone is taking advantage of you, you can always write to us for some additional advice.

  • On different parts of this website, you will read a growing number of horror stories. These are not made up. These have been provided to us by various garages or members of the public who have been taken for a ride. Learn from other people's mistakes because you will not live long enough to make them all yourself!

  • Write to us with your problems, and we will try to help you. Good luck.
